AAAAA (5A) Premium Grade Matcha in Bangladesh

Our 5A grade sits between culinary and full ceremonial, making it the most versatile option in the Matcha BD range. Sourced from Hangzhou, China, it performs well both in milk-based lattes and when drunk plain with just water. If you want one grade that covers daily drinking and occasional latte use without buying two separate tins, 5A is the practical choice.

What to expect from this grade

The flavour is noticeably smoother and more balanced than the 3A culinary grade. There is natural sweetness from the higher L-theanine content and less of the sharp bitterness that culinary grades carry. Drunk plain with warm water, it produces a clean, mellow cup with a soft earthy character and a smooth finish. In a latte, the matcha flavour holds clearly against the milk without disappearing.

The colour is a vivid, solid green, visibly brighter than the 3A grade.

Ingredients

100% matcha (Camellia sinensis leaf powder). No additives, no sugar, no flavourings.

How to prepare

Sift half to one teaspoon into a bowl or mug. Add 60 ml of warm water at 70 to 75 degrees Celsius and whisk in a W motion until smooth and frothy. Drink as is, or add warm or cold milk for a latte.

Storage

Keep sealed in a cool, dark place. Refrigerate after opening. Best within 4 to 6 weeks of opening.
